Parent-managed use
Use ModelMate only as an adult parent, guardian or authorized caregiver. You are responsible for the information, photos and videos you upload, obtaining necessary consent, and supervising a child’s use of the content.
Practice support, not medical advice
ModelMate helps organize practice materials and record progress. It is not a diagnostic tool, treatment service, emergency service or substitute for qualified professional advice. Progress counts describe activity in the app, not clinical outcomes.
Review generated content
AI text, pictures and narration can be inaccurate or inappropriate. Review each story before using it with a child. You can edit, delete or report a story. Do not rely on generated content for medical, emergency or safety-critical decisions.
Your media and sharing
Upload only material you are permitted to use. Do not upload abusive, illegal, exploitative or infringing material. You control whether to create or revoke a story link; a recipient may retain a copy already shared or printed.
Free Library and story credits
The Library remains free for signed-in users. New story creators receive one free custom story per account, not a free illustration change. Existing accounts that have already created stories have used that initial opportunity. Manual text edits are free. One credit creates a complete custom story or a successful AI illustration-edit preview, including a preview you later discard. Failed generation returns the reserved credit; deleting completed content does not return a credit.
Monthly subscriptions
The US plans are $4.99 per month for 5 credits and $14.99 per month for 20 credits. Your store shows the final localized price and terms before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple or Google settings. Unused credits expire at the end of their billing cycle and do not roll over. Cancellation normally preserves access until the paid period ends; refunds or revocations can end access earlier. Upgrade and downgrade timing is shown by your store. There is no web checkout.
Restoring and deleting an account
Open Subscriptions & credits in Profile to restore purchases while signed into the app account that originally purchased. A purchase cannot grant the same billing-period credits to several accounts. Deleting an account or uninstalling ModelMate does not cancel store subscriptions. Cancel through your store settings before deleting your account if you no longer want renewal charges. Contact Support for a purchase that cannot be matched to your account.
Service and account controls
You can stop using optional AI features or delete your account. Deletion and storage-retention limitations are described in Privacy. Availability may depend on network access and external services. Final publisher/legal terms must be reviewed before store submission.
